Overview The Green Ring of Warsaw is an initiative focused on protecting and developing green areas surrounding the city — including forests, parks, recreational and agricultural areas.

The project aimed to create a distinctive and contemporary visual identity that could communicate the organisation’s mission and work consistently across different touchpoints.

The collaboration unfolded across various elements:

  • Logo Design
  • Color Palette Selection
  • Typography Selection
  • Presentation Design 

In the project you will also find my proposal for: letterhead, business cards, envelope, posters, flyers, billboards based on the main theme proposition - referring to the organizations powerful slogan "One to save them all"

The concept The logo represents the green areas surrounding Warsaw, with the blue shape at its centre referring to the Vistula River flowing through the city. The combination of green and blue creates a visual connection between nature, the city and water, while the simple, contemporary form allows the identity to work across different formats and media.

Color palette The choice of main color is based on strong and energetic green, referring to nature that is alive. The color is also expected to make the organisation more modern and show that it moves with the times. Blue is an additional color in the color palette and it refers to water and also refers to life.

Typography A simple and modern font was used to highlight the modern nature of the institution. Letters are clear and elegant to show professionalism and reliability of Green Ring.

Summary

This was a volunteer project that gave me a great deal of personal satisfaction. I’m happy to see the project continue to grow and to know that my work supports the organisation in achieving its goals. The initiative is particularly meaningful to me and reflects values that are close to my heart.
