Overview lubię.pilates is a small company run by two wonderful women who set out to create a place where everyone can feel good and do something good for themselves. They specialize in Pilates reformer training, which combines the harmony of movement and body care. My task was to create a complete visual identity that would capture the essence of lubię.pilates and encourage people to join this unique community.

How does the brand describe itself?

Threat yourself to something good

Concept The foundation of our concept was to blend the aesthetics of Bauhaus with elements of Pilates reformers. We aimed to create a modern, minimalist, yet friendly and active image. Our inspiration was the harmony of movement offered by Pilates and the desire to create a welcoming space for everyone who comes to us.

Why Bauhaus?
Why did we choose Bauhaus as inspiration for the visual identity of lubię.pilates? Well, Pilates and Bauhaus share fascinating similarities, both in terms of ideas and origins. Pilates was born in the same period and the same country as Bauhaus - Germany in the 1920s. Both domains were rooted in the idea of craftsmanship, creating, and designing. In Bauhaus, the intention was to allow people the freedom to develop, a concept that finds its reflection in the spirit of lubię.pilates studio, where everyone is welcome and has the opportunity to work on themselves.
Functionality, simplicity, and seriality...
were key values of Bauhaus, just as in Pilates on reformers. We wanted everyone to benefit from Pilates, which is why, when designing the lubię.pilates visual identity, we also adhered to these values. The simple form of the reformers, as well as the visual minimalism of Bauhaus, allow me to create things that are fully useful and functional while preserving aesthetics and simplicity.
Bauhaus style is characterized by...
lightness, minimalism, optimization, and innovation, which perfectly reflects the philosophy of Pilates. In both cases, it's about combining simple forms with excellent functionality. The similarity lies in the merging of craftsmanship with art, making both Bauhaus and Pilates seem like natural companions in our project. Ultimately, both areas focus on creating, developing, and perfecting the body - one through movement, and the other through design. It is these shared roots and values that made the choice of Bauhaus as inspiration seem natural and fitting.
